Public debate with Anti-Slavery International about forced labour and forced criminality of migrants

Association for Integration and Migration, Organization for Aid to Refugees and Multicultural Center Prague warmly invite you to a public debate with foreign participation

(UN)safe work - from precarious work to the forced crime

  • Tuesday, 5 November 2013 at 10 am
  • Evropský dům, Jungmannova 24, Prague 1

Issues related to work safety bring many questions: Where does the precarious work begin and end? How to detect it, punish it and how to prevent it? How far does the precarious work concern migrant workers? Where do boundaries of forced criminality begin and end? And how to adjudicate those who were forced to participate in crime under strong pressure or in need?

The debate will focus on these and many other questions, including the introduction of the current situation in the Czech Republic and in the UK. Discussion will also aim to exchange views and ideas on the prospects of improving current practices and the development of cooperation between various stakeholders, incl. non-profit sector.
