Health insurance
Applicants for international protection are covered by the public health insurance system as state-insured persons. The state pays the health insurance costs on their behalf. The General Health Insurance Company of the Czech Republic (VZP) issues proof of valid health insurance. This proof is provided for the duration of the validity of the person’s international protection applicant card. For contact information, visit the VZP website.
