Community events
In early June 2018, SIMI organized a community event Let´s talk together (about migration) with the Prague Humanities Gymnasium. The event took place at the end of the school year, in which, as part of a project of the same name, pupils of Prague schools had the opportunity to meet and talk with migrants and SIMI workers on the topic of migration and refugees.
The event featured migrants from countries such as Mongolia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ukraine, or Mexico, who have prepared workshops on culture and points of interest about their countries.
Another community event happened on 15th of April in 2019 in the cooperation with the Gyhmnasium Jan Kepler. As part of the program there was screening of the documentary movie Nepalese in Jablonec followed by debate with the guests. Six interesting workshops with took place after the debate.
