New project Employees Beyond Borders
Since 1 August 2013, we have became partners in a one-year international research project Employees Beyond Borders, which is implemented by four NGOs from Visegrad countries under the leadership of the Polish organisation Association for Legal Intervention.
The main aim of the project is to conduct in-depth research on the impact of the so-called Sanctions Directive 2009/52/EC in order to find out whether the Directive reaches its goals in discouraging employers from employing third country nationals with irregular residence status and helps to prevent the exploitation of migrant workers. The results of the research will be presented at national conferences in each partner country.
The project is supported by the International Visegrad Fund.
