Legal assistance at Václav Havel Airport Prague
Since 2023 SIMI provides legal assistance and monitoring in the Reception Centre Ruzyně at Václav Havel International Airport Prague.
The main part of the activity is providing expert support to asylum seekers and to people detained in transit. The activity specifically covers topics of access to territory and protection of vunurable persons.
Lawyer will visit the facility once per week and will be available in case persons request assistance.
In 2023, our lawyers supported over 25 asylum-seekers with over 240 hours of direct interventions.
