This week, two internships of our colleagues take place within the project „Regularisation as one of the tools in the fight against irregular migration“ at the partner organisations in Spain and Portugal, during which they shall exchange experience in the field of the irregular migration and regularization in the concerned countries as well as strengthen the partnership between the organisations. During these internships the Czech delegates will visit relevant institutions (in particular, immigration offices), they will participate in lectures prepared by the partners and they will also meet migrants who went through the regularisation. In such manner, they will see what regularisation has led to in each country and how we can use such experience in the Czech Republic. The lawyers from SIMI, Pavla Burdová Hradečná and Klára Holíková have been participating in the internship at the Portuguese Solidariedade Imigrante while Martin Rozumek from OPU and Marie Jelínková from MKC were sent to the Spanish organisation SOS Racismo – Mugak in San Sebastian as the members of the Project’s core team.
